WHO WE ARE
Dr. Rebekah Hartfield has been dedicated to serving the Holdenville community as the proud owner of Holdenville Veterinary Clinic since 2019. Her passion for animal care extends beyond the clinic, and she actively supports the Holdenville Animal Lovers Association, a fundraising organization committed to aiding the local animal shelter. Together, we’re making a positive impact on the lives of our furry friends!
A native of Bridgeport, TX, and graduate of Oklahoma State University Center for Veterinary Health Sciences, Dr. Hartfield’s love of animals is as much a part of her as her Christian values. She has been around animals her entire life and grew up riding and showing horses.
Dr. Hartfield instills in her team the same principles that drive her as a veterinarian: to above all else put the health and welfare of her patient first. Dr. Hartfield and her team are committed to providing quality care and compassion for their patients at Holdenville Veterinary Clinic.

DR. REBEKAH HARTFIELD, DVM
Dr. Rebekah Hartfield holds two associates degrees, a bachelor’s degree in animal science from Texas A&M, and a doctorate of veterinary medicine from Oklahoma State University.
She joined a mixed animal clinic in Cushing, Okla., after veterinary school where her passion for and advocacy of veterinary medicine grew. There she began a personal journey to educate, encourage and inspire the next generation of veterinarians.
Out of this desire, The Doctor Hartfield Veterinary Book Series was born. The books chronicle Abby, a young girl who lives on a farm, and Dr. H. as they examine, diagnose and treat various animals on Abby’s farm. The intent of the books is to help educate young children about veterinary care and practices while helping them better care for their pets.
Today, in addition to operating her own veterinary clinic, Dr. Hartfield continues her work as an author reading to and educating students in the tri-state area.
